Springtime for Helen

Some people have been wondering how a RōNIN campaign works.  To be honest it's difficult to explain but I can show you how a campaign is played out.

Luckily a couple years I did run such a campaign.  It's a six-part campaign we did (weighing at three hours a piece) called 'Springtime for Helen'.

This campaign centers on a mysterious incident in which an intern falls to her death from an Alexandria branch office in the suburb of Rolling Meadows in the Northwest Corridor district. The problem: the incident has become a jurisdictional labyrinth because:

  • The incident is on Alexandria Inc. property which locks out the Rolling Meadows PD due to only megacorps having sole jurisdiction over any incidents on their property as per the Corporate Neutral Zone laws.
  • Said intern is the niece to Alderman Mark Bobek of Polish Village which means the Chicago PD's Municipal Investigations Unit (MIU) can butt into the investigation as they're the only exception to CNZ laws as it involves someone close to the Chicago City Council.

To that end, the intern's younger twin sisters have hired RoNIN to find out what caused their older sister to take a dive out the window.

Did she truly honor herself? Or is something even more devious in play?

Enjoy!  Oh and pardon the music at times getting too loud... OBS hates me.
